Frequency Domain Fluorescence Spectrometer
This instrument uses advanced Fourier - transform digital techniques for time resolved fluorescence spectroscopy.
Applications:
- Lifetime determinations of multiexponential decays of fluorophores in a mixture
- Analysis of the fluorescence decay using continuous lifetime distribution
- Polarized differential phase and modulation ratio determination for the measurement of rotational motions of molecules
- Phase and modulation resolved spectra and kinetics of up to three components
- Kinetic studies in the ms range
The instrument is equipped with additional digital photon counting electronics and allows polarization (anisotropy) measurements using a T-format design.
The Keck Facility provides an extensive collection of cut-on filters.
