L.A.B.S. is held on the Northwestern University Evanston Campus in the Technological Institute Building, 2145 Sheridan Road. L.A.B.S. 2009 will take place over four consecutive Saturdays:
  • April 25
  • May 2
  • May 9
  • May 16
Morning sessions will be held from 10am-noon and afternoon sessions from 1:30pm-3:30pm. Students will participate in either morning or afternoon sessions for the duration of the program and once enrolled, students cannot change the times of their scheduled session. A commitment to attend ALL FOUR Saturdays is essential for a successful L.A.B.S. experience. In addition to the two hour session, students are given take-home projects that will stimulate and encourange the creativity and curiosity of the budding scientist.

Young students, pretending to be organelles, model the activities of the cell.

L.A.B.S. is made possible by the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Institute for Biomedical Research
