Monthly "Chicago Campus Coffee Breaks" where BP students network with other students, the BP program director, and other BP affiliates to share announcements and voice concers.

Quarterly receptions on the Evanston campus to meet and greet underrepresented students and faculty members across disciplines, as well as key administrators.

Attendance to SACNAS and/or ABRCMS- to present student's own research as a poster or platform presentation and to recruit graduate students for the program

Second year students spend a quarter of residency at Northwestern to complete a rotation with a mentor of their choice and take a course that will carry over credit for graduate school. Last Fall, three second year students successfully completed applications for graduate school and all three are moving onto Ph.D. programs.
