Research Technologists
Research technologist positions in the Widom lab become available from time to time. Join an enthusiastic and hardworking group carrying out research on chromosome structure and function. Duties include: carrying out experiments as outlined by P.I.; protein and nucleic acid purification; biochemical assays (sometimes using radioisotopes); presenting work at lab meetings; maintaining general lab supplies and records; training and supervising undergraduate lab aides. Qualifications required: B.A. in biology or chemistry and research experience; salary commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have considerable experience and will be hoping for a long-term position.
